A turning point in accounting has been implemented in the Kurdistan Region . We are proud to announce that for the first time the CMA certification has been brought to the Kurdistan Region by the Association of Accountants and Auditors, the likes of which are not found in the Federal Republic of Iraq. On Saturday, 30-8-2025, the first session of the CMA certificate was launched with the participation of 20 male and female students, to be the beginning of a major step in the efforts of our Syndicate to develop and modernize the accounting profession in the Kurdistan Region, in line with international standards and practices and in line with the Kurdistan Regional Government's strategy for economic growth. The CMA certification is issued by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in the United States and is globally recognized as one of the leading certifications in the field of management accounting. In this certification, Surgent MENA is the leading professional exam preparation company in the United States.
