Membership Conditions

  • Educational Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Professional Experience
    No practical experience is required to register membership
  • Professional Conduct
    Clean professional record and commitment to our Code of Ethics

Membership in the Syndicate

  • Original Member
    A person who holds a Bachelor's Degree in accounting obtained from an Iraqi university or its equivalent in a manner that does not conflict with the regulations, instructions and decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region.
  • Acquired member
    All those who have acquired the right to membership in the Syndicate according to the conditions of practitioners of categories (A and B) whom are classified as follows:

    • Category (A): Those who hold Bachelor's Degrees in (commercial, financial, banking and business administration) and a diploma in accounting, provided that the duration of the study is not less than two years after the preparatory certificate.
    • Category (B): Those who are graduates of the preparatory school of commerce (accounting and general commercial) and holders of diplomas in accounting approved by the Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Region.

  • Board of Directors
    Composed of the President of the Syndicate, the Vice President, and the members of the Board of Directors.
  • Subcommittees
    Training Committee, Legal Affairs Committee, Public Relations Committee.
