The Kurdistan Accountants and Auditors Syndicate held a special ceremony to honor the International Accountants' Day

On Monday، 8/12/2025، the Kurdistan Accountants and Auditors Syndicate organized a special ceremony to honor the International Day of Accountants under the title "The Accounting Profession between Advances and Challenges and the Role of Accounting in Institutions in the Age of Technology". The event، which was attended by a large number of government and party officials، heads and representatives of trade unions، university professors and members of the union، presented two scientific panels and provided an opportunity for the exchange of views with a view to further developing this field، which is one of the pillars of economic development within any system of government. The ceremony honored a number of teachers and accountants who have worked tirelessly over the past years to raise the level of knowledge of those working in this field. We would like to thank all the members of the Syndicate and the attendees of this event and reiterate our commitment to work for the further development of this field in accordance with international systems and standards. It is worth mentioning that World Accountants' Day is celebrated annually on October 10. But the meeting was postponed due to the elections to the Iraqi parliament.
